Online Crime Mapping Now Available to Joplin Residents

Joplin Police Department is participating in a trial mapping program now available on our website and at www.crimereports.com. On the website, it is found under the Reports & Statistics menu item as CRIME REPORTS. The mapping program enables residents as well as nonresidents interested in moving to Joplin to access crime reports throughout the city. Searches can be made based on date, crime type, and/or location. A sex offender search is also available. A permanent purchase of the program after the trial run will be considered at a later date.
